I don't even know where to start this month, Everett is just awesome!!! We do not have his weight and height, as we have not taken him yet. I don't think he is significantly bigger, but bigger nonetheless. He is still rolly polly, and super cute.
Everett is not crawling yet like his big cousin Kaitlyn, but he is mobile. He started by just turning in a circle on his bum, using his hand as a pivot, but now he is going a couple feet, Intentionally! He has also managed to move himself in the excersaucer. He rocks himself in the direction he wants to move, he moved about 4 feet the other day so he could see Mike in the kitchen.
Everett had his second ear infection. Likely in both ears, but they were not certain in one because there was too much fluid. He was grumpy at times at home, but distractible. At the Dr. Office no one believed he was sick and a very nice elderly couple told us how great he was when we were leaving. He is such a flirt; he had the whole room eating out of his hands, especially the receptionist. This is usually the case with Everett; he knows how to work people, especially ladies. He plays shy and has the biggest smile! It is so sweet! He makes his mommies heart melt!
Halloween was pretty exciting around here. We carved pumpkins the night before with Danny, Tania and Faith. Mike and I did the nightmare before Christmas, it was really fun. Mike just found a new artistic ability! Everett that day was dressed as a Doctor in scrubs that he got form Grandma Charlebois, which are adorable! On Halloween Everett was a dinosaur when in the house and tigger when with his cousin Gurine took him trick or treating. The dogs were Eeyore, a lion and a caterpillar. We had lots of kids.
Little Evie is talking up a storm! He loves to be part of a conversation and seems to enjoy hearing his own voice. He seems to say dada intentionally sometimes, never mama and Mike even had him saying Papa one day. He is also really good at the "hi" sound. He loves clapping and high fives - he still needs guidance with both but loves it. He is really good at clucking and has a new little giggle, it is so hilarious he just started today mike said it is his new 9 month old laugh, it is adorable!
Everett is now eating food with a bit of substance and loves to suck on bread. He loves food! He also really loves to feed the dogs! And the dogs love it to. Everett thinks it is really funny and beagle especially sees a jar of baby food and her tail starts to wag.
Everett went to his first hockey game with Faith. They watched Papa and Uncle Danny playing. Evie got really scared when the puck hit the glass that we were right behind, but he enjoyed it. Then Mike and I took Everett to his first blades game. He loved it, all the noises, all the lights, all the people, how could he go wrong. He also loved that Kelly and Nicole came, and as usual he made some friends in the stands.
We have all of our Christmas decorations up and Everett loves the tree, the pretty lights and the odd texture and the shiny ornaments. He is going to be so much fun at Christmas, we can't wait!
So enjoy the pics of our little Viking!
